MaMITs Travel ERP includes cab booking software and taxi booking software for travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs and cab operators. It covers cities, vehicle types, drivers, vendors and rate cards, calculates every fare automatically, assigns an own driver or a vendor cab, prints the cab voucher and lets customers book a cab on your website with pickup and drop on a map. Cab bookings share the same customer, quotation and GST invoice as your tour packages and hotels.

Cab booking software is a system that holds your cities, vehicles, drivers and fares, calculates the price of each trip and manages the booking from request to completed ride. For a travel agency it is also a taxi booking system and transfer management software: airport transfers, local hourly hire and outstation trips are quoted, booked, assigned to a driver or vendor and invoiced in one place. In MaMITs Travel ERP the car booking software is part of the same system as your tour packages and hotels.

Everything a cab business or a travel agency with transfers needs: cities, vehicle types, drivers, vendors, rate cards, automatic fare calculation, bookings with driver assignment, printable cab vouchers and map-based online booking on your website.

Example. Sedan (Dzire) in Delhi at 12 rupees per km, 250 km minimum per day, driver allowance 300 rupees per day. A 2-day round trip of 380 km is billed on the greater of 500 and 380, which is 500 km: 500 multiplied by 12 plus 2 multiplied by 300, which is 6,600 rupees. A fuel surcharge rule, if active, is then added automatically.

Taxi bookings are listed under tabs: All, Pending, Confirmed, Completed and Cancelled, numbered TXI-0001 and onwards. Each booking records the customer, city, vehicle type, trip type, pickup date and time, pickup and drop points, the fare breakup, an optional fare override for special deals (recorded in the activity log), driver or vendor assignment, and payments with paid and balance amounts. (Figure 13.5)
Assign one of your own drivers or a vendor with the actual vehicle number, then send the driver details to the customer on WhatsApp with one tap. Print a cab voucher with guest, trip, vehicle, driver, pickup and drop points and fare. (Figure 13.6)
The Cabs page at /taxi shows live fares by city and vehicle type. On the cab booking page the customer sets pickup and drop points by address search or by clicking on the map. The road distance is calculated automatically and an exact fare is shown from your rate card and any active fare rule. The customer chooses Pay driver (cash or UPI) or Pay online, and the booking arrives in admin as Pending for your team to confirm. A “Taxi Booked” email with the trip, pickup time and fare is sent. (Figure 13.7)
Maps run on OpenStreetMap (free) or Mapbox, set in Settings.
Home page sections built for cabs: Mobility tiles (airport, local, outstation, chauffeur) with live “from” fares, and Popular Cab Routes tickets (From, To, km, fare) that open the cab page with the route filled in.
In a quotation, a Taxi item type lets you add a transfer or a full-trip cab to any option. In a tour booking, the cab is part of the same record as the package and the hotel rooms, so the customer receives one invoice and one set of vouchers.
The Taxi fuel surcharge rule type adds a fixed amount per trip across all cab fares, for example plus 150 rupees per trip. Season, festival and weekday rules can also be scoped to vehicle types.
The Operations dashboard shows cab pickups coming up and cab usage by vehicle type.
Driver details go to the customer on WhatsApp with one tap, using your template with the driver name, phone and vehicle number. No WhatsApp API subscription is needed.
